At WhizWind VPN, your privacy is our highest priority. We operate under a strict no-log policy for user privacy. We DO NOT collect, monitor, or log any browsing history, destination IPs, DNS queries, or content of communications through the VPN tunnel. Your actual internet traffic and browsing activities remain entirely unlogged and untraceable. The ONLY VPN-related metric we track is the total bandwidth volume (e.g., bytes sent/received), which is solely used to display real-time data usage statistics on the app's UI.

2. Minimal Operational Data Collection

For the general operation of the app (outside of the VPN tunnel), we collect the following minimal data:

• Device Verification: To securely verify first-time installations and grant a complimentary 3-day trial without requiring registration (preventing trial abuse), we use platform-specific device verification methods (e.g., Apple's native DeviceCheck API for iOS/macOS devices).
• Bandwidth Usage: We track total data volume (bytes sent/received) strictly for displaying usage statistics within the app's UI.
• Transaction IDs: Collected solely to validate In-App Purchase order authenticity (e.g., via Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and prevent transaction abuse.
• UI Metrics & Crash Reports: We collect basic UI interaction metrics and crash reports entirely in-house (we do not use any third-party marketing or tracking SDKs) to fix bugs and improve app stability.
• Email Address (Optional): If you use the app without an email, operational data is tied only to an anonymous account. However, if you voluntarily choose to link an email address to sync your subscription, all operational data (bandwidth usage, transaction IDs, UI metrics, and crash reports) will be associated with your email account for unified management.

3. Data Storage and Third-Party Sharing

Strict Limits on Third-Party Sharing: We absolutely DO NOT share, sell, or disclose your VPN activity or personal operational data to advertisers or commercial third parties. All UI metrics and crash reports are collected entirely in-house.

Data Storage: The minimal operational data we collect (such as account identifiers, transaction IDs, and linked emails) is securely encrypted and stored on Google Cloud servers located in the United States.

Data Retention: We retain the minimal operational data collected only for as long as it is necessary to provide our services, or as required to comply with legal obligations. For users who have linked an email address, this data is retained until the account is manually deleted through the app. For users without a linked email, operational data tied to the anonymous account is retained only as long as the app is actively used on the device.

4. Customer Support Services

To provide prompt and effective customer support, we utilize a third-party service provider, Crisp.chat, to host our customer support chat, which is accessed via a secure in-app browser. When you open the support chat, you communicate with us directly through their platform.

• Anonymity: You can use the live chat entirely anonymously without logging in or providing an email address.
• Data Handling: Any information you voluntarily share within the chat interface, as well as basic technical connection data required by the chat widget to function, is processed by Crisp.chat in accordance with their own strict privacy and security standards. This data is strictly siloed and is never associated with your VPN tunneling activity.

5. Data Encryption

All traffic routed through WhizWind VPN is protected using military-grade AES-256 encryption. We utilize advanced protocols to ensure that your data cannot be intercepted or deciphered by ISPs, hackers, or government surveillance agencies.

6. User Rights and Account Deletion

You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal information. If you have voluntarily linked an email address to your WhizWind VPN account, an "Account Deletion" option will become available within the app settings. You can use this feature to easily delete your account. Upon deletion, all associated operational data (such as your linked email and transaction validation data) will be permanently removed from our active servers. If you use the app entirely anonymously without an email, your minimal operational data is automatically managed and there is no personal profile to delete.

7. Legal Requests

WhizWind VPN operates under the jurisdiction of the United States. While we comply with valid legal requests from law enforcement agencies, our strict no-log policy means we do not store any browsing history, destination IPs, DNS queries, or content of communications. Therefore, we cannot provide any information regarding your online activities or specific VPN usage, simply because that data does not exist.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our records.

9. International Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data:

• European Economic Area (EEA) & UK Residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
